Last year, UK dance music legend - and progressive house pioneer, of course - Sasha set about collaborating with a swathe of young and up-and-coming artists, blending his classic sounds and decades of experience with those of a new generation of talents. He continues in that vein here, joining forces with Plaza Recordings founders and giddy breaks/garage/house fusionists Cortese. 'One', the headline track here, is trippy and trance inducing, putting a 21st century spin on the kind of dreamy, melody-rich and trance-adjacent progressive house jams that Sasha became famous for as the 1990s progressed. 'U Disappear', meanwhile, takes a similar approach, albeit with rumbling speed garage bass, more sparkling electronic motifs and hazier female vocal samples.
