Deep house veteran Warren Harris has now been using the Hanna alias as a vehicle for his productions for 28 years. In that time, he's released on a stellar selection of labels including Paper Recordings, Freerange, Sound Signature, Nervous, Apron and Shall Not Fade. Here he inaugurates a new label, Casa Voyager, and delivers his first missive of 2026. Hanna gets things going with the 80s jazz-funk-flavoured deep house of 'Ghost' (think Kaidi Tatham meets Zapp), before breaking up the beats whilst retaining the Herbie Hancock synth sounds on 'Omnipotent'. Harris opts for a more bumpin' groove and sweat-soaked feel on the similarly minded excellence of 'Basquiat', while 'Peacemaker' offers his distinctive take on jazzy, spaced-out drum & bass.
