Sasha and Franky Wah have already proven they make a formidable pairing, and 'Get On My Level' suggests there is still plenty left in the tank. The original mix is built around an inky, rubbery bassline that coils under cavernous percussion and disembodied vocal fragments, little by little drawing dancers deeper into its orbit. Wisps of synth drift across the surface whilst the rhythm stays cruelly obedient throughout. As you'd expect, accompanying dub and instrumental versions strip the track back to its core elements and gives DJs plenty of room to manoeuvre. One track, three versions and a strong case for another collaboration.
