Notes:
St. Petersburg resident Kuzma Palkin is a busy guy, having recorded music in the past as Audiocad, Cylindro, Plattformer and many more. Under his own name he's contributed to Russia's respected Gost Zvuk label, and now he signs up to the excellent Ukranian outpost Wicked Bass to drop some hypnotic and delightfully dusky club tracks to inject a little spice into a minimal scenario. The release kicks off with "Windy Bass," which shares a little rugged spirit with STL's sonic style and love of loose swing, before diving down into the misty waters of "Fordism 0205." "Exalted Flow" has a more detailed arrangement that pushes extra detail, sequence wobbles and FX tweaks onto the drums to make for a dynamic rhythm workout. "Krisis Ekktro" completes the set with a blown out electro throwdown that will be gold dust to any self-respecting machine funk deviant.
