Born in Bangkok and raised in Vancouver, Bokhari channels memory, place and feeling into a lo-fi yet luminous sound that blurs the lines between decades and continents. The album is deep in intimacy, created on a minimalist setup but overflowing with warmth and detail. 'Pull Me Up' drapes bedroom boogie in plush textures, while 'Bangkok Boy' folds Thai vocals into a breezy blend of city pop, house and 80s dance, carrying fragments of childhood across oceans. 'Into The Fall' slips into sensual, lo-fi grooves, brushing up against synth pop and 'Weatherman' shimmers with an electric guitar, drifting toward dreamwave and vaporwave territory. Bokhari's music feels effortlessly cohesive in an album form like a personal diary rendered in rhythm and melody.
