Riddim Chango roustabout Hiroshi Takakura steps over to MAL with this explorative twist on modern 140. The title track 'Motion Exchange' sets the scene in a traditional stepper style. Tightly coiled energy that winds up with every distorted siren, the double barrelled bassline does all the talking. We're then treat to two extended journeys in the form of 'M-OO' and 'Longest Summer'. Both presented in two parts (one original and one dubbier version), the former is your quintessential creeper while the latter is much more groove and funk influenced. Finally 'Handdara Dance' signs the EP out on full psychedelic effect. Monster.
