Notes:
Gatefold sleeve. Made in Germany.
New York composer Brian Jackson teams up again with New York production duo Masters At Work on the second instalment from their ongoing collaborative project that arrives deep into Jackson's post-Midnight Band revival and MAW's long-standing engagement with jazz-rooted dance music. 'Racetrack In France' anchors the release - stretched and reworked with contributions from Josh Milan, J Ivy and Moodymann with each voice folding naturally into the track's slow and deliberate sprawl. Elsewhere, 'Moonshine (MAW Live Mix)' breathes through Carl Cornwell's sax lines, whilst 'Lady Day & John Coltrane' carries quiet emotional weight via Rahsaan Patterson. It's generous, unforced, and rooted in shared musical history.
